I am so not ready to write this right now.
It is what it is....

I was walking along the beach on Cape Cod and noticed these red petals in the sand.  It’s winter here on the Cape so their vibrant red color especially stood out.  My mind began to wander…..were these petals from lovers that were sharing a moment here before I arrived?  Or were they from someone who lost their love, spreading the petals as a tribute to that person?  I figured the answer is best left to the viewer.  Interpret it as you will.

I would like to challenge myself photographically.  I am looking to improve my skills and unlock my creativity.  Is anyone else interested in doing the same?

Here’s what I propose….each week, one of us picks a challenge or an idea that everyone has to translate into a photograph.  Then we post our results.  We can either be open to feedback or not.

We can decide how it all works together once we get some people interested.  I am simply interested in challenging myself photographically.

Anyone else interested?  Respond!

I wake up in the middle of the night with amazingly clear thoughts.  Sometimes it’s a song I could write….sometimes it’s a quote….sometimes it’s an answer to a situation I am dealing with.  I am too tired to write it down, so I repeat it over and over in my head until I fall back asleep.  When I wake up, I know I have had this fabulous thought or that I have answered something I have been thinking about, but I can’t remember anything about it.

If only I’d write it down……..

  • Question: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY? - tumblrbot
  • Answer:

Getting lost at Fort Wilderness, Disney’s campground.  I jumped on the shuttle and went for a ride all around the park.  When everyone else was off the cart, the driver turned around to see only me.  I wasn’t scared, I was exploring.  I was reunited with my parents and all was well but I still remember the freedom and excitement I felt looking all around and going for a joy-ride…..
